History and development

RO-GER SRL origins date back to 1994. This history summarizes its beginnings and highlights, the developments that have led to its position as a valued competitor in the telecommunication market.

RO-GER SRL was created in March 1994 with a capital merger from Romania and Germany.

Between 1994 and 1996 the company developed a business of importing, marketing and selling of the phones manufactured by Siemens in Germany.

In 1996 RO-GER SRL strengthened by signing a contract with “Telecom PTT Logistic Zentrallager”, a division of Swiss Telecom. The contract stated that the company will bring the phones manufactured by Tritel in the Romanian market. The group also announces the establishment of promotional prices what brought the possibility of bringing good quality and non-expensive equipment to its Romanian customers.

The equipment was authorized by the romanian authorities. The feasibility study for the phones had a great success and the results can be seen through the fact that in this moment 19 different models are commercialized in the Romanian market.

For the year 2000 RO-GER SRL is announcing 8 more models of the Tritel phones.

The various models of the units imported are determined by the market demands, the phones and the switched boards are affordable and fitted for any budget.

Warranty and support

One of the focus points is customer satisfaction. RO-GER SRL offers for each model warranties and support.

That is in concordance with The Customer Protection Office who imposed to give for every product 12 months warranty and up to 5 years extended warranty.

More than that the company offers a program for refurbished units that is to give 18 months warranty and up to 10 years extended warranty.

Each unit is delivered with a stamp of The Study and Research National Center for Communications (CNSCC), a technical manual written in Romanian and the warranty certificate.

Our customers can obtain any needed information, about technical information, installation, troubleshooting, trough the company hot-line or trough the company WWW-site on the internet.

Distribution

Through 1996 and 1997 the products were delivered to the customer through stores. In the same period of time RO-GER SRL opened a various number of service and support centers in the most counties.

Starting with 1998 the company initiated a number of contracts with powerful distributors and shipping companies (Directia Regionala de Posta Cluj, ICE Felix, MT.I.L. Rom etc.).

In 1999, because of the high volume of sales the equipment was delivered and distributed with the help of Romtelecom.

For the year 2000 RO-GER SRL is announcing more models of the Tritel phones. The products will be marketed in all the Romanian regions in the colaboration with County Managements of Telecommunications.
